IAN MCNICOL

MSc Student

Ian Cropper.jpg

Ian is a Master’s student in Dr. Good’s lab, studying the anti-inflammatory effects of the novel insulin family gene Insulin Like Peptide 5 (INSL5). This project will help to determine if INSL5 plays a role in the immune system, particularly to see if it has a protective effect against Ulcerative Colitis (UC) in the gut. This research may help to generate health sciences funding for inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) treatments
